THE PARTY'S OVER: A Performance Experiment Thing

On the eve of what seemed to be a rather unique and interesting election, we took a little road trip together. To help us think about Donald Trump, I brought in the work of Mike Daisey, another legendary performer-slash-liar. THE PARTY'S OVER, in which I developed techniques for a larger-scale driving performance in the future, was about my relationship to Daisey, his relationship to Trump, and Trump's relationship to the theatre and the country. Part bitch session, part roving podcast, THE PARTY'S OVER hoped to give us something communal and quasi-interesting to do on a night we'd have otherwise spent hate-watching cable news and contemplating imminent doom.
