Romance

David Mamet

Directed by Scott Zigler

May 9 - June 7, 2009

American Repertory Theatre

Romance was the centerpiece of A.R.T.’s Sex, Satire, Romance, and Ducks festival, which also included a double-bill of Sexual Perversity in Chicago and The Duck Variations and Seriously Funny, a program of short plays by David Mamet, Harold Pinter, and Shel Silverstein. In addition to serving as dramaturg for Romance and contributing to the other productions, I produced a series of blog posts sharing the rehearsal process with audiences and created YouTube videos where we answered their questions (in 2009, this seemed like terribly innovative territory!).
